In short

This website provides information about Guinea Pig Simulator. The game's beta is at www.guinea-pig-simulator.app/app/ and has its own privacy policy. There are no accounts, ads, tracking, analytics or cookies. Images, videos, fonts and scripts are served from our own web space through the Cloudflare network, with no embedded third-party video players.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg) on Amazon S3 in a data centre in Ireland. To send you the website’s files, your browser transmits technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the requested file, browser and operating system and, where applicable, the page you came from. We have not switched on access logs and do not analyse this data. AWS processes it on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR, AWS Data Processing Addendum). As AWS's parent company is based in the USA, a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out entirely; Amazon is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in delivering the website reliably and securely.

Delivery via Cloudflare

Between your browser and our web space sits the Cloudflare network (a content delivery network), provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Every request passes through a Cloudflare server, usually in a data centre near you. Cloudflare sets up the encrypted connection (HTTPS), keeps copies of the website's files ready so they load faster, and protects the site against overload and attacks. In doing so it processes the same technically necessary data as described under Hosting, above all your IP address. Cloudflare sets no cookies on this site. If a connection error occurs while loading, your browser may automatically send Cloudflare a short technical error report (Network Error Logging) with the requested address, the kind of error and your IP address; this does not happen for requests without errors. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR, Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum). A transfer to the USA is possible; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). Storage on your device

This information website does not create saved games and uses neither cookies nor local storage. Your language is selected through the page address. Your browser may cache website files such as images, videos and fonts to load them faster.

Images and videos

Gameplay clips load directly from our web space when you open them. No connections are made to external video platforms.

Email

If you write to us, we process your email address and message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is settled, unless we are legally required to keep them.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21); just send us an email.
